Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KosmaJobs application and website (kosmajobs.com), operated by Maana Studio ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the Netherlands (KVK 91191475), with its registered office in Den Haag, Netherlands. By downloading or using KosmaJobs, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of service

KosmaJobs is a job discovery service that aggregates publicly available job listings from third-party job boards and presents a personalised selection to you on a daily basis.

KosmaJobs is a job discovery tool only. We do not post job listings ourselves, act as an employer, recruitment agency, or employment agency, and we make no representations about the accuracy, availability, or suitability of any listed positions. All listings originate from third-party sources and are subject to change without notice.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use KosmaJobs. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at kosmajobs@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Use of AI technology

KosmaJobs uses artificial intelligence to personalise the job listings presented to you based on your professional profile. By using the service, you acknowledge that your profile data (skills, preferences, and location) is processed by our AI sub-processors to generate your personalised results. Processing is performed server-side; you are not required to provide any API credentials.

4. User-generated content

Content you submit (professional bio, skills, work preferences) is used solely to personalise your experience. You retain ownership of this content. By submitting it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store it for the purpose of providing the service.

You agree not to submit content that is false, misleading, unlawful, or that violates the rights of third parties.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app or website
• Use automated means to scrape, harvest, or extract data from the service
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
• Use the service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
• Use the service to send spam, phishing, or malicious content

Violation of these Terms may result in immediate termination of your account without notice.

6. Third-party job listings

Job listings displayed in KosmaJobs are sourced from third-party job boards and are provided "as is". We make no warranty that listings are accurate, current, complete, or that positions are still available. We are not responsible for the content of external listings, the conduct of employers, or the outcome of any application you make.

Clicking a listing opens the original source. You interact with third-party sites under their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MAANA STUDIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed €50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitations of liability and disclaimers) will continue to apply.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the email associated with your account or through a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Den Haag, Netherlands.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
